Throughout my life I’ve always sought to try new foods and new experiences and travel to new places whenever I’ve had the chance.

HeartmadeCulture came about because of all my seemingly unconnected passions that I wanted to continue to follow.

Originally?

I was determined to find a way to mix my love of painting, SCUBA diving, archaeology, history, mythology, and travel. I soon realized that although I loved painting, I wasn’t nearly as good as I thought. It wasn’t long after that I tried wire wrapping and fell in love with it- and decided that this is wanted I really wanted to do. I don’t see this as giving up- I see this as being honest with myself and being willing to embark on a new journey.

Interestingly, I remember making jewelry and trying to sell it in high school. I only sold a few pieces, but I can’t help but think that it was a precursor to my journey now. It seems like several different paths in my life are all encroaching on each other now in a way I never anticipated. It’s all coming together and I am here for every minute of it!

…It’s because of my overthinking about all this that I realized I could incorporate other aspects of my life into my business as well.

– I have ADHD and I’m autistic (two big reasons I chose to go down the building my own business path).
– I love traveling and I have a big heart for people and culture (part of the inspo for the business name 😉 )
– I love adventurous activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, whitewater rafting, and ziplining. And I definitely have bungee jumping, spelunking, and skydiving on the bucket list!
– I love being able to help and serve other people as much as I can

Over time I compounded these interests of mine into my business.

I don’t want my business to just be about selling something. I want it to be about so much more. And not just for me- but for others to choose to buy from me and support me and follow me.

My business is ultimately about inspiring women through my words and my products to be bold, be creative, and to be adventurous. To live extraordinary lives. To push themselves out of their comfort zones. And to build a likeminded community that serves and listens to one another as we share our dreams and our victories.
